A: Cybercon's vDedicated Servers support many different types of
operating systems: Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008,
Windows Vista, Windows XP, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS Linux, SUSE
Linux, Open SUSE Linux, Mandriva Linux, Ubuntu Linux, Sun Solaris, and
FreeBSD.
Q: I have a virtual server image, can I send it to you so I don't have to reinstall anything?
A: Yes, you can send us your virtual server image. We will power it up and reconfig IPs so you can use it
right away. It will be identical to your old server except it has a new IP address. You don't need to reinstall any
applications. We support follow virtual server images: VMWare Server and ESX images, Xen virtual server, and Microsoft
virtual server.
Q: I already have a server, can I send you my harddisk so you can convert it to a virtual server?
A: Yes, you can send us your harddisk. We can convert it to a virtual server.
Alternatively, you can send us your server's Ghost image or Acronis backup image. We can convert it to a virtual
server.
